Ingredients
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1 cup Button mushroom , thinly sliced
- 1 cup fenugreek leaves , chopped
- 2 onions , finely chopped
- 2 Tomatoes , finely chopped
- 3 Green Chillies , chopped
- 5 cloves Garlic , chopped
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt , as per taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
How to make Mushroom Methi Brown Rice Recipe
- To make Mushroom Methi Brown Rice, first wash and soak the brown rice for 30 minutes.
- Take out the water from it and put the brown rice in the cooker. Add 2-1 / 2 cups of water to it and cook it until it comes to 2 cities.
- Now heat oil in a pan. Add garlic to it and cook for 1 minute. Now add onion, green chilies and cook till the onion becomes soft.
- After the onion softens, add tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes are soft. Now add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add mushrooms, mix and let it cook for the next 2 to 3 minutes. Now add fenugreek seeds and cook for the next 3 minutes.
- After the mushrooms and fenugreek are cooked, add cooked brown rice to it and mix. Add salt and serve as per taste.
- Serve Mushroom Methi Brown Rice with Tomato Cucumber Onion Raita and Papad for dinner.
